Shawn Malinowski

A lifetime of service, with more to give, as I am a servant of God, Family and Country.

Northern by birth, Southern by choice. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, joined the Army 6 days after my 17^th Birthday and one month after graduating High School, on June 6, 1984, I was on my way to becoming a Soldier. On July 31, 2008, I retired after 24 years of active duty with 8 moves, 4 deployments and lots of great memories.

I spent 10 years, as the Director of Dining Services at Cornerstone Village (AKA Appalachian Christian Village), meeting and exceeding the resident’s expectations in regards to their needs and wants through hard work, dedication, love and compassion. I had the privilege to travel for 6 months and serve seniors in Alabama, Maryland, Nebraska, Virginia and in Maryville, TN, before we settled in Maryland where I was the Operations Manager, at Asbury Methodist Village, Gaithersburg, MD, for 16 months. When our daughter told us she was having our grandson, I gave my notice and we returned to East Tennessee to be close to our daughter and grandson. Tennessee is our home.

God has blessed me with my beautiful wife Vivian, our two children, Hevyn and Trent and our grandson Zaryn. He has blessed me with two great careers and has now guided me to being a Realtor, so I can help others reach their dream of home ownership.

I remember when we bought our first home and the excitement we had when closing the deal and finally getting the keys, the keys to “OUR HOME” and I want you to have that same excitement.
